This weekend my daughter and I went to Universal Studios. The entire day was spent at the park. We were there from 10:30am until about 8pm. We had some mom-daughter bonding time since my baby is going out of town this week for the summer. We rode on The Mummy roller-coaster, Transformers, The Simpson's ride, and many more. We ate Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream (yum yum) and had a blast. It was great spending the day with her.
Thursday night I will be driving my daughter to Tampa because my cousin will be driving her to Amite, Louisiana for me. They are leaving out early Friday morning. She will be visiting her grandmother (my mother) and her dad. He lives in Mississippi so he is planning on driving to my mother's house to see her. They haven't seen each other in a while.
Yesterday I got some clothes for the summer for her to wear. We went to Burlington Coat Factory and found some really great deals. She was so excited...She loves to spend mommy's money (ha ha). I am definitely looking forward to this long break I'm going to have. But then again, I am going to miss my baby so much. I hope she has tones of fun while out of town.

ReplyDeleteJust when You really get used to them and there of some use they leave. Just doesn't seem fair. Get used to it first college (hopefully) then a career and a family of there own then Your the gram who gets the next gen over the summer. It all goes way to fast but it dose leave good memories! With more fun to come.
