Next Semester

Next semester will be my last...thank God. I'm so ready for school to be over with already. I was given my summer schedule last week and my classes are Principles of Human Resources, Principles of Psychology, and Advertising. Has anyone taken these classes before? I hope the semester flies by quickly.

Just think...in September...I can finally say I will have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. Will I pursue a higher degree later on? I'm still debating that but we'll see. Is anyone else looking to get a higher degree in their field once they're finished?

I'm glad for the relationships I've build while being at City College. I learned a lot from the teachers and even students I've come in contact with. Hopefully, everyone I've developed friendships with in school will stay in touch.

Feeling Blah

I really don't have a whole lot to talk about today. My daughter left to go out of town for the summer Friday morning. I missed my baby so much on Friday. I didn't work so I stay at home all day watching TV in my bed. I felt better once Saturday came.

Saturday I had to find something to do with myself so I decided to get my hair done. Afterwards, I went to my niece house for a bit then came home. Sunday, I didn't do a whole lot. I completed my homework assignment for this class. I have a paper due this week for my Thursday night's class that I still have not started. It is a 600 word essay on anything that has to do with Small Business Management. Any suggestions on what I should write about?

Today, I finally back in the office after working from home last week. The day was kind of boring but I got through it. Now, here I am blogging away at school in my Computer Applications class. One more week to go and I'm done. I'm so ready to be done with school. Hurry up September!!!!

Universal Studios and Summer Break

This weekend my daughter and I went to Universal Studios. The entire day was spent at the park. We were there from 10:30am until about 8pm. We had some mom-daughter bonding time since my baby is going out of town this week for the summer. We rode on The Mummy roller-coaster, Transformers, The Simpson's ride, and many more. We ate Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream (yum yum) and had a blast. It was great spending the day with her.

Thursday night I will be driving my daughter to Tampa because my cousin will be driving her to Amite, Louisiana for me. They are leaving out early Friday morning. She will be visiting her grandmother (my mother) and her dad. He lives in Mississippi so he is planning on driving to my mother's house to see her. They haven't seen each other in a while.

Yesterday I got some clothes for the summer for her to wear. We went to Burlington Coat Factory and found some really great deals. She was so excited...She loves to spend mommy's money (ha ha). I am definitely looking forward to this long break I'm going to have. But then again, I am going to miss my baby so much. I hope she has tones of fun while out of town.
