Show Me The Money!!!

I've been working a lot of overtime at my job lately. We are trying to get caught up on work because we (meaning my department) are behind on monitoring the reps calls. For the past few weeks I've been working 9-10 extra hours per week. This weekend (for the first time) I worked 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday (from home of course) and plan on doing it again this coming weekend. My goal is to work 53 hours overtime for this pay period. I know, I know you're thinking...who in the h--- would work 8am-8pm especially on the weekend? I would. That's right I said it.

Actually, I have reasons for working so many hours.

1. I'm trying to save money to move out of state next year
2. I have a few upcoming trips I will be taking...which includes going to the Bahamas
3. I have a few upcoming events to go to in the Orlando area (Katt Williams comedy tour, etc.)
4. And, I just LOVE MONEY

Now, I'm not sure how long the overtime will last but I will "work it" until the wheels fall off. I know that was corny...DON'T JUDGE ME! Just Show Me The Money!!!

  5. You sound like the right person for a little advice. Don't work for the money, make the money work for You. Saving money for a specific plan or goal is a great thing just adjust Your goal. I've heard it said "Some people are just LUCKY" I say no luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Be the person who is prepared and watch for opportunity. Most of all don't be afraid to take a risk. Without risk the rewards are small, like most paychecks. Find the balance in risk v reward. Don't break the law that is one risk with that is always to high.
